• Perform all quality related functions for the location such as Tests, Inspections (Internal & External), Reports, Set‑ups, Filing, etc.
• Work with production operators to ensure work‑in‑process and product sampling needs are met during production
• Perform quality assurance line checks twice a shift and related data entry
• Maintain and operate tensile test machine and bending test apparatus to check conformity of rolled product to specification physical requirements
• Make decisions on product non‑conformance issues and follow non‑conformance procedures through to completion
• Detect and report nonconforming material and deviations from specifications to supervisor
• Perform data entry of test results and inventory into computer systems
• Maintain laboratory filing system to ensure ease of data retrievability
