Winn Companies is seeking an
Assistant Property Manager
to join our team at
Southwood Apartments
, a 196-unit multifamily residential communitylocatedin
Morrow, GA
.

In this role, you will support the Property Manager in the day-to-day property management operations of the community, including leasing, resident relations, rent collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and property administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in multifamily housing and property management.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily residential community, ensuring excellent resident service and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with leasing activities, including apartment tours, application processing, recertifications, and lease renewals.
  • Monitor rent collections, post payments, enforce collection policies, andassistwith delinquency management.
  • Respond to resident concerns and helpmaintainpositive resident relations and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare financial reports, resident correspondence, recertification notices, and other property documentation.
  • Processpurchaseorders, invoices, and accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with property operations, financial administration, and occupancy-related activities.
  • Serve asacting

    Property Manager in the Manager's absence, as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in property management, leasing, customer service, administrative support, ora related field.
  • Up to 1 year of supervisory,team lead,leadership, or mentoring experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based business applications.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the property management industry.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse residents, colleagues, and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience with Yardi, Real Page, or other property management software.
  • Experience in multifamily housing, affordable housing, LIHTC, HUD, or Section 8 environments.
  • Knowledge of leasing, resident retention, and property operations.
