Food & Consumables Coach

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop retail teams, ensuring clear expectations and consistent recognition.
• Collaborate with all levels of associates on store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
• Implement One Best Way (OBW) service model and manage customer‑service initiatives, including community outreach.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues, develop action plans for deficiencies, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Examine PL and sales data, support budgeting and forecasting, and control expenses to meet sales‑indexed targets.
• Maintain effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, mitigating shrink and meeting profit goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, the Open Door policy, and ethical standards.
• Build high‑performing, inclusive teams that embrace diversity and promote belonging.

• 2 years college OR 1 year retail experience with 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience with 1 year supervisory experience.
• Must complete required job trainings and assessments, including Academy trainings.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related program completion.
• Experience supervising five or more direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.

The annual salary range is $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments, Complex Structure allowances, and a State Pay Differential where applicable.
