Job OverviewAs a Fine Jewelry Sales Colleague, you provide outstanding customer service, creating personalized shopping experiences. You use your expertise in precious metals, gemstones, and luxury brands to educate and assist customers, building lasting relationships through consultative selling and our clientele program.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver superior customer service with a focus on elegance and personalized interaction.
- Promote loyalty and warranty programs to enhance customer value.
- Support inventory, fulfillment, and merchandise presentation activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor.
- Participate in special events and vendor training.
- Ensure security, accuracy, and impeccable presentation of merchandise.
- Achieve daily sales goals and support clienteling initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve operational excellence.
- Begin each day energized, greet teammates, and prepare the sales floor.
- Review sales goals, new arrivals, top‑selling items, and current promotions.
- Offer warm welcomes, maintain eye contact, and build friendly relationships with customers.
- Ensure proper processing, presentation, organization, storage, and replenishment of stock.
- Finish strong by advocating the loyalty program, providing a thank‑you, and using customer names.
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
- Continuously improve work and strive for excellence through learning and goal achievement.
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Clear understanding of employment policies, safety rules, and procedures.
- Ability to recommend products, assist with fittings, and use digital shopping tools.
- Proficiency in point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions.
- Experience with sales events, clienteling tools, and ongoing training.
- A 1–2 year related experience in retail or fine jewelry sales.
- Ability to meet or exceed daily sales and protection plan goals.
- Skill in opening credit accounts and communicating loyalty benefits.
Physical Requirements
- Talking, lifting, moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level.
- Requires good voice, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers.
