Inventory Coordinator

Overview

The Inventory Coordinator at Avis Budget Group is responsible for lot inventory management including checking and logging new arrivals, ensuring vehicles have the correct merchandising documents, and maintaining a presentable sales lot.

• Control the flow of cars and manage inventory.
• Check and log new arrivals and enter correct status in the fleet computer system.
• Handle lot merchandising, ensuring vehicles are front‑line ready with correct pricing stickers, buyer’s guides, and frame plates.
• Park and align cars to maintain a presentable sales lot.
• Manage the back overflow lot.
• Shuttle cars to vendors, assist with dealer trades, and pick up customers when needed.
• Maintain fuel logs and other reports requested by the Location Manager.
• File reports as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Professional behavior towards customers and associates.
• Ability to work in varied environments, such as indoors and outdoors.
• At least 20 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving history.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and sit for up to 8 hours.
