Position Summary
What You'll Do- Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, and provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology.
- Processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types.
- Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
- Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise, corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintains entrance areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, identifies member needs, assists members with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, promotes the company's products and services, zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, assists members with transporting items, and maintains a safe shopping environment.
- Maintains exit areas, reviews member receipts, acknowledges the member and identifies member needs, assists with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets and property, maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
- Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short‑form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
