Mechanic, Mechanic II, Senior Mechanic

Experienced Mechanic needed for immediate hire.

AC Sweepers and Maintenance, Inc is seeking an Experienced, Full-time Mechanic for our parking lot and street sweeping operation.

Job Duties:

* Establish, schedule and perform required preventative and corrective maintenance procedures

* Experience in oil changes, mounting tires and light mechanical

* Review driver/operator reports of needed repairs

* Maintain accurate repair logs on all company trucks, sweepers and equipment

* Ability to accomplish work in a reasonable time frame

* Purchase, received and store shop supplies and sweeper/truck parts

* Diesel Mechanic experience is a plus

* Trouble-shooting and repair of Hydraulic and electrical vehicle issues

* Keep shop clean and orderly

* Job requires pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, hand & finger dexterity and being on your feet for long periods of time

* Be on-call for after-hour breakdowns

* Ability to use a cutting torch and/or weld is plus

* Compliance with all company safety and personnel policies

* Effectively communicates with owner, managers, drivers and operators both verbally and in writing

Qualifications/

Skills:

* Must have a valid Georgia Driver License

* Must have a clean driving record

* Must be 23 years old for insurance purposes

* High school diploma or equivalent, equivalent work experience, or combination thereof

* Must be able to work flexible hours and days. We are a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week company. Job requires 40 plus hours a week and overtime as necessary

* Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

* Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test. Random testing is also done.
