Dispatcher, Transportation

Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience

• Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer orders, delivery schedules, and job-site needs.
• Coordinate and optimize delivery routes to support efficient and on-time deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery schedules, status updates, delays, and changes.
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and ensure orders are accurate and properly prepared for delivery.
• Respond quickly and professionally to delivery issues, delays, and other logistical challenges.
• Ensure operations remain compliant with applicable safety standards, company policies, and DOT requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, driver logs, and material-tracking documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely communication throughout the delivery process.
• Complete required reports and perform additional dispatch or operational duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or a related environment preferred.
• Experience with in construction materials or a similar industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and effectively use dispatch and logistics software platforms.
