Senior Accountant

Our client is a growing mental health organization that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team! This newly created role offers the opportunity to support the CFO as a right-hand accounting partner, manage day-to-day accounting functions, and contribute to building scalable processes as the organization expands!

Work arrangements: Hybrid/Remote

$85,000.00/yr - $/yr

• Manage general ledger, post journal entries, and reconcile key accounts (cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, inventory)
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports with variance analysis
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes in compliance with GAAP
• Support internal and external audits, maintaining documentation and internal controls
• Handle accounts payable, expense reporting, and operational reporting
• Assist with tax‑related work and coordination with external tax advisors
• Document accounting processes and maintain compliance with internal policies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger systems, and common accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Sage Intacct)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work with finance leadership, other departments, auditors, and vendors

• Experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, EHR software, or similar systems
