Job SummaryThe Supply Chain Manager oversees the end-to-end supply chain management system within the organization. The role develops and implements supply chain policies, manages a team, audits performance, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Planning and Forecasting:
Develop supply chain strategies, forecast demand, analyze market trends, collaborate with sales and marketing. - Procurement:
Identify and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, manage inventory levels. - Logistics and Distribution:
Oversee transportation and shipment, improve efficiency, ensure timely delivery, coordinate with warehouses. - Risk Management:
Identify risks, develop contingency plans, monitor disruptions, manage recalls and returns. - Budgeting and Cost Management:
Manage budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor and analyze costs. - Continuous Improvement:
Analyze processes, implement improvements, utilize data and analytics, stay updated on best practices. - Team Management:
Lead and manage a team, set goals and KPIs, foster a positive work environment, provide training programs. - High Impact Behaviors:
Strategic Decision Making, Effective Communication, Fostering Team Growth.
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 7 years experience and 2 years people management.
- Proven experience in import/export operations with supervisory experience.
- Expert level understanding of advanced failure analysis techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Google Analytics.
- Experience with digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, SEM).
- Strategic thinking with a test and learn approach.
$125,000 to $140,000 plus bonus.
