Overview
Reassembly Technician - Body Shop
Lighthouse Collision Center is looking for an individual with at least one year of automotive experience to join our collision center team. The ideal candidate has a servant heart, a good work ethic, strong communication skills, with a passion for restoring a vehicle to its pre-collision state after repair. The work environment is a fast-paced, active, and has a strong team.
The Reassembly technician assists the Body Shop Technicians by reassembling vehicles after all repair is complete in the body shop.

Salary: $18 – $23/hr
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

- Re-assemble the vehicles that have been repaired by the Collision Center technicians.
- Install previously disassembled body panels, trim, and electronics such as bumpers, interior trim, and headlights.
- Ensure the vehicles meet the OEM standards after re-assembly.
- Conduct quality checks and test systems like electronics.
- Perform final inspections and test drives.
- Assist other departments within the body shop upon completion of the repair, as needed.
- Able to multitask and adapt easily to fast paced environments.
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license to be considered for this position.
- Candidates must possess one year of professional automotive experience to be considered for this position.
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Candidates with body shop experience preferred.
- Candidates with Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred.
- Stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling and pulling.
- Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs.
- Lifting and carrying (up to 80 lbs).
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination needed to operate equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions.
