A well‑established healthcare construction consulting firm is looking for a Pre‑construction Manager to lead all pre‑construction activities across multiple large‑scale commercial construction projects. The role focuses on estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and bid management while collaborating closely with owners, architects, and operations teams to set projects up for success before construction begins.

• Provide comprehensive pre‑construction services including estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and risk management
• Lead bid solicitation and subcontractor outreach and procurement
• Research market conditions, historical cost data, material pricing, and labor rates
• Perform material quantifications, scope development, and schedule planning
• Conduct detailed reviews of design plans and specifications across a range of institutional projects
• Develop variance summaries between estimates and value engineering studies throughout preconstruction
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with owners, architects, and the operations team to deliver accurate, competitive budgets

• Associate’s degree
• 3+ years of hands‑on construction and pre‑construction experience
• Experience reading and interpreting contract documents, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with quantity takeoff software (OST, Destini, or similar)
• Experience with design software (Revit, Sketch Up, AutoCAD) for pre‑construction
• Bluebeam proficiency
• Experience with bidding software (Building Connected, iSqFt, or similar)
• Ability to prepare conceptual cost estimates from historical data and subcontractor feedback
• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• Valid driver’s license

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or Architecture
• 5+ years of hands‑on construction and pre‑construction experience
