Position: Classroom Teacher / Art
Job Description:

The job of Art Teacher was established for the purpose of providing a variety of media for all assigned students regardless of their ages and needs. This position will require the teacher to plan and implement a variety of media that is age appropriate for a range of grades and adapt the art activities to meet the needs of a variety of students.

The teacher will need to plan and prepare effective instruction as well as manage a classroom/learning environment.

Minimum Requirements:

* Valid PA teaching certificates in Art Education;

* Special Education certification preferred;

* Experience working with students with special needs preferred;

* ABility to work effectively and regularly with a computer and computer programs;

* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;

* Possess excellent interpersonal and team building skills;

* Possess strong organizational skills;

* Ability to function independently;

* Flexible and reliable.
