Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois LBSI (Learning Behavior Specialist I) certification
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Prior experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Deliver differentiated instruction in a high school classroom setting
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and program effectiveness
• Provide a supportive and structured environment that encourages academic and personal growth
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training focused on special education best practices
