School Psychologist

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide full-time coverage for a maternity leave near Morton, IL for approximately 12 weeks, starting around early October (exact dates dependent on leave start). This is a school-based role with a strong, collaborative team and a focus on comprehensive student support.

• Diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs
• Provide individual and small group counseling services to students
• Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs
• Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions
• Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program
• Active state-level licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience working in schools or with children required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators
