This full-time maternity leave coverage runs October through November and is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure in two distinct school settings. Youll broaden your expertise by working with both elementary (K-5) and middle (7-8) grade students across two buildings. Each day brings new insights, mentorship opportunities, and diverse challenges to help you sharpen your professional practice, expand your resume, and enrich your perspective on educational psychology.
KeyQualifications:
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements apply)
- Experience with elementary and/or middle school caseloads preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and build rapport quickly with students and staff
- Deliver psychological services to K-5 and 7-8 grade students across two schools
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and develop intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
- Contribute to effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend team meetings
- Provide crisis response support as needed
