The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as in all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers.

Our teams collaborate in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology, and operational excellence.

The Transportation Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for global transportation processes and system solutions that support the International Parts and Components network. Key solutions include the Transportation Management System, visibility tools, reporting and analytics, and integrations used across multiple transportation modes and partners. This role ensures transportation technology solutions remain operational and meet partner and stakeholder needs. The Transportation Specialist collaborates with technical and non‑technical business partners to identify and implement continuous improvements that create value through system automation, analytics, and consistent global standards across transportation teams.

• Be part of the global International Transportation Business Solutions team that deploys and supports enterprise‑wide, end‑to‑end international transportation solutions for the International Transportation Parts and Components network. These solutions move parts and components from more than 2,000 suppliers to over 100 manufacturing plants and Aftermarket parts distribution centers worldwide and support international Aftermarket distribution center to distribution center and distribution center to dealer moves.
• Actively contribute to a global Transportation Business Solutions team that deploys and supports enterprise‑impactful end‑to‑end International Transportation Parts & Components solutions moving parts and components from over 2,000 suppliers to over 100 manufacturing plants and Aftermarket Parts Distribution Centers (DC) worldwide, and Aftermarket DC to DC and DC to Dealer for International Parts and Components moves.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for international transportation systems and processes, supporting global operations teams and internal and external solution partners while driving continuous improvement through process enhancements, automation, and analytics.
• Ensure Transportation Management, e2open GLO, Parts Viz, and supporting systems operate effectively and provide users with the transportation capabilities they need.
• Provide exceptional customer service by troubleshooting and resolving issues raised by customers and users.
• Partner with global teams to configure systems based on customer requirements while maintaining established operational standards.
• Continuously improve operations by streamlining processes, strengthening standard work, and eliminating waste.
• Develop dependable system processes and procedures that deliver accurate, consistent outcomes for users and customers.
• Train, establish, and support internal users across transportation systems.
• Manage detailed, complex tasks from start to finish in a timely manner with minimal instruction or review.
