Morton Industries is hiring for a 3rd shift Shipping Team Lead! Morton also pays a 15% shift premium!

SUMMARY Leads and coordinates activities of department workers by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPlans and coordinates work order schedules for the coming shifts.
Ensure all employees in work area are working safely within the department and wearing proper PPEEnsure area employees are following company quality policy
Maintain production schedules by coordinating workflow, preparing tooling/fixtures, and helping in the setup of machines
Verify work order operations are being completed and sign off on jobs as required by company policies
Maintain outgoing quality and scrap rates within the department
Coach/Train employees on proper techniques and machine operation
Mentor new employees in the department to run equipment and produce product within company standards safely and properly
Trouble shoot problem jobs and work with support groups to develop solutions
Ensure tooling and equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
Maintain area cleanliness and organization
Run production as required to maintain production schedules and overall area productivity standards
