Salary and benefits
Hourly rate: $35.81–$36.43 with a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Includes a retention bonus and a comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) plan).
Position SummaryAs an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing electrical and electronic circuits used in machine tools and plant equipment. You will apply your knowledge of electrical systems to test, diagnose, and resolve malfunctions.
Key Responsibilities- Experience maintaining electrical equipment in an industrial environment
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing CNC/PLC controlled machines
- Experience with AC/DC analog and digital drives
- Ability to demonstrate intermediate or higher proficiency in reading and interpreting machine tool prints/schematics
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to operate basic tools to complete the job
- Demonstrate comprehension of oral instructions and/or printed work orders to determine work assignments and material requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in electrical theory and application relating to plant operations equipment
- Must pass the color blindness test
- Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Interpret oral instructions and written work orders
- Proficiency in electrical and electronic theory as it relates to plant operations
- Intermediate ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical/electronic experience (or equivalent) for intermediate-level tasks
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical installation/repair experience (or equivalent)
- Electrician certification
- Self-starter and self-motivated individual who works well individually in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime to support production demands
- Minimum of 3 years experience maintaining electrical equipment in an industrial environment
