Weekday 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Weekday 3rd Shift – Sunday night to Friday morning, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

What You Will Do

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for building, installing and repairing electrical and electronic circuits used on machine tools and plant equipment. You will test and diagnose malfunctions, calibrate and service electronic testing instruments, and support electrical aspects of new equipment installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, install, and repair electrical and electronic circuits used on machine tools and plant equipment
  • Apply knowledge of electronic circuits to locate defects using instruments
  • Test faulty equipment
  • Diagnose malfunctions of electronic units and systems
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, signal generators, electronic counters, and recorders
  • Calibrate and service electronic testing instruments
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex machine tools and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines
  • Support electrical aspects of new equipment installation
Qualifications
  • Comprehension of oral instructions and printed work orders to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
  • Proficiency in electrical and electronic theory and application relating to plant operations and equipment
  • Intermediate working knowledge of interpreting schematics and electrical diagrams
  • Three years of experience (or equivalent) before performing intermediate tasks on electrical and electronic machinery and equipment
  • Two years of experience (or equivalent) before performing basic mechanical installation or repair to equipment
  • Ability to pass a 2‑hour Ramsay skills test
Physical Requirements

This position involves working near high-voltage electricity, molten metal, heavy equipment, and in confined or elevated spaces. Physical fitness is essential to safely perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree or diploma in a related field
  • Conduit bending experience
