Residential Service Plumber Technician

Experienced Plumbing Technician - Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (based on experience)

We are looking for an outgoing, customer service oriented and dedicated plumbing mechanic with 4+ years’ experience in residential service and installation. Journeyman's license a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial applications

Knowledge of the mechanical operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, water heaters, and other plumbing components

Ability to read plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations

Performs preventative maintenance work as required

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade

Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and safety practices

Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper

Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted

Excellent problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversation of measurements

Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as PPE, safety procedures and/or the maintenance of a clean work area Basic mathematics and conversion of measurements

Must have a valid driver's license

Be at least 18 years of age Ability to do physical labor including lifting associated with profession

Ability to work in all weather

Workers must be punctual and reliable4+ years’ experience

Willing to be part of On-Call rotation

Physical Demands:
This position requires a range of physical abilities consisting of:

Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching, squatting, crawling; heights, ascend/descend ladder, climb or balance, confined spaces.

Eyesight corrected or uncorrected sufficient to read a variety of materials including but not limited to fine print.

Hearing with or without use of hearing aid(s) sufficient to hear any conversation with others; understandable voice and speech patterns.

Manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to operate tools and equipment of the trade.

Sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.

Use hands to handle and/or feel; reach with hands and arms.

Must occasionally lift, push, pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds.

Work in outdoor conditions:
Heat/Cold inclement weather
