Commercial HVAC Service Technician – South New Jersey
- Philadelphia, PA Region
- Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (based on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with at least 5-7 years of commercial service experience to join our talented team! This is a full-time position servicing the South New Jersey and Philadelphia region, with a take home company vehicle.

Job

Duties include:

Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to a variety of commercial HVAC systems, Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, and BAS systems.

Organization and attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently- maximizing productivity and minimizing down time Ability to utilize an electronic tablet for all facets of information sharing, scheduling, work order write ups, quotes, emails, etc.

Obtain vendor quotes, order parts and follow up with vendors until parts are received

Create quotes for customers

Ability to manage your own portfolio of accounts (communicate and schedule directly with customers, prioritize workload, stay on task with PM’s, etc.) This will be a gradual process, allowing sufficient time for acclimation and development

Carrying and climbing ladders, up to 40’Share in after-hours on-call rotation (1-week intervals)
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as PPE, safety procedures and/or the maintenance of a clean work area Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Regular and reliable attendance.
5+ years’ experience in Commercial HVAC Service.

Controls knowledge is not required but is a plus!

EPA Type I + Type II refrigeration certification (Type III is a plus!)Ability and willingness to work overtime and rotating on call Reliability / dependability

Valid driver’s license and a good record

Pre-employment substance screening, physical, and background check

EPA Type II (Preferred)
Physical Demands:
This position requires a range of physical abilities consisting of:

Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching, squatting, crawling; heights, ascend/descend ladder, climb or balance, confined spaces.

Eyesight corrected or uncorrected sufficient to read a variety of materials including but not limited to fine print.

Hearing with or without use of hearing aid(s) sufficient to hear any conversation with others; understandable voice and speech patterns.

Manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to operate tools and equipment of the trade.

Sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.

Use hands to handle and/or feel; reach with hands and arms.

Must occasionally lift, push, pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds.

Work in outdoor conditions:
Heat/Cold inclement weather
