Position Overview Morton Industries is seeking a skilled Developer to join our IT team. This role will focus on designing, building, and supporting software solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across our business. The developer will work on a mix of ERP development, custom applications, and web-based tools.
Key Responsibilities ERP Development & Support Develop, customize, and maintain ERP modules to meet business requirements.
Integrate ERP with third-party applications and internal systems.
Application Development Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software programs (desktop and web applications).Build internal tools to automate workflows, reporting, and data management.
Maintain source code, technical documentation, and change logs.
Web Applications Develop web-based apps and portals for internal use.
Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
Integrate APIs and web services to support business processes.
Qualifications Required Bachelor ’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, or similar).Familiarity with ERP platforms and business process automation.
Preferred Experience with ERP customization.
Experience with APIs, RESTful services, and system integrations.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control (Git).Key Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration.
