Warehouse Person; Loader - Nights

This labor‑intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Each load type requires strict attention to order accuracy, complying with shipper/receiver documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Workers use an electronic order system or order sheets and build loads with a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack.

Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets or plastic flats. Bulk truck loading requires selecting designated packages from the warehouse, stacking and shrink‑wrapping to maintain pallet stability, and loading them onto a trailer for local delivery. Route truck loading tailors each load to a salesperson’s order, selecting specific packages and flavors for the truck.

Position requires lifting a high volume of cases (20–45 pounds per case) repeatedly throughout the shift, standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to the picking area and build pallet/load according to the load sheet or voice pick audio equipment (if applicable)
• Mark load ticket for out‑of‑stock items
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished
• Turn in paperwork with order for check before loading and have truck checked
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area
• Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance

• 18 years or older

• Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector, picking, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts)
• Experience driving a forklift (e.g., driving forwards/backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product)
• Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets
• Experience working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co‑workers, joint problem solving)
