Load Planner I
Salary Range $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary Position Type Dispatch Job Shift 8hr Travel Percentage Negligible Category IC1
DescriptionThe position is responsible for managing loads and route planning for customer orders.
Essential Functions
- Build loads and determine most effective route; dispatch drivers
- Take customer orders; provide customer service
- Determine effective asset and driver utilization
- Communicate with drivers and resolve and safety related concerns
- Travel to customer sites; maintain and build customer relationships
- Manage driver workloads
High school diploma
Transportation and supervisory experience preferred
