Senior Staff Auditor

Are you an experienced auditor seeking a new opportunity to elevate your career? We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Staff Auditor to join a growing public accounting firm. This position can be either in-office or hybrid, depending on your location and experience. The firm's office is located in Moscow, Idaho. Candidates residing in the Coeur d'Alene,  Spokane, WA area may be considered for a hybrid arrangement, as a significant portion of the client base is located in that region.

As a Senior Staff Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in conducting governmental and nonprofit audits. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and hold an active CPA license. Candidates who are CPA-eligible and actively pursuing certification will also be considered. A minimum of three years of audit experience is required, preferably within a public accounting environment.

This established CPA firm has been serving clients with tax, accounting, auditing, and consulting services for decades. The firm offers strong career growth opportunities, including a potential path to partnership for professionals interested in advancing their public accounting careers. With a team of approximately 25 employees, professionals have the opportunity to specialize in industries and service areas that align with their interests and strengths.

As a single-office firm, employees benefit from a collaborative environment with fewer layers of management. This structure promotes direct interaction with partners and senior leaders, allowing for meaningful mentorship, personalized professional development, and greater involvement in client engagements. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their work and contribute to the firm's continued growth and success.

Working within a smaller public accounting firm provides unique advantages, including:

• Exposure to a broad range of clients and accounting responsibilities

• Direct mentorship from partners and senior leadership

• Accelerated professional growth and leadership development

• Greater autonomy and involvement in client engagements

• A supportive, team-oriented culture that values work-life balance

• Clear opportunities for advancement and long-term career development

This position is ideal for professionals who currently hold a CPA license or are actively pursuing one and are seeking an environment that supports career growth, autonomy, and meaningful client relationships.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a meaningful impact with a firm that values professional development and work-life balance, we encourage you to apply.
