Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to support payroll, month‑end close, and core accounting operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring GAAP‑compliant financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, improving close efficiency, and supporting scalable growth. multiple industries.
What You’ll Do- Process payroll, including multi‑state payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Prepare payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Support payroll‑related compliance and audits
- Prepare GAAP‑compliant month‑end close schedules and assist with close activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Provide backup support for AR/AP functions
- Review and troubleshoot work prepared by accounting staff
- Assist with intercompany processes and cross‑functional accounting support
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and system enhancements
- Support ERP administration and testing of new accounting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including payroll and month‑end close
- Experience with multi‑state payroll
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Familiarity with internal controls and SOX concepts
- Net Suite experience required; advanced proficiency is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Experience supporting intercompany accounting
- Experience with WIP / POC accounting under GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, complex formulas, reporting models)
