Classroom Scheduling & Enrollment Services Specialist
This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective classroom scheduling and registration services to faculty, students, and staff. The role requires a thorough understanding of university academic rules, regulations, and policies to support these processes.
Responsibilities- Assist faculty, students, and staff with course scheduling issues, web grading, and registration regulations.
- Operate scheduling software and systems; update and maintain accurate student records.
- Collaborate with other registrar offices to ensure excellent customer service and consistent policy application.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working in a customer service environment.
- Operating office equipment such as telephones, computers, and various software.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in a Registrar’s Office and in higher education.
- Experience with Banner or other student information systems.
- Experience with scheduling software.
- Experience requiring strong attention to detail.
- Experience with automated records systems.
- Experience interpreting, explaining, and applying complex regulations such as FERPA and academic regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience handling confidential information.
- Ability to handle difficult interpersonal situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Systematic research skills to collect requested information.
- Ability to provide accurate and timely information and handle complex problems courteously and efficiently.
- Ability to work in a repetitive, detail‑oriented environment with a high level of accuracy.
- Multi‑tasking, prioritizing, and time‑management skills.
