POSITION AIDE - West Park Elementary - 7.25 hours/day
STARTING DATE August 25, 2026
SALARY $16.79/hour
Job DescriptionResponsibilities include recess, bus area and lunchroom supervision, assisting in the office, computer lab proctoring, assisting with small group interventions, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Physical abilities: observing student behavior, communicating observations orally and in writing; supporting students as required in emergency situations or for their safety (such as emergency evacuation or in an accident where aid must be provided).
- Reading, writing and speaking English.
- Work effectively as a team member; communicating clearly and completely, adjusting to work toward group goals, positively representing the school/district in communication and action.
Experience working with children including test proctoring, conflict management, problem solving and mediation.

Eligibility and Background Checks
If selected for a position, the candidate will be required to complete and sign Section 1 of the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) and present identification for review and verification in accordance with the Department of Homeland Security no later than the first day of employment.
The candidate will be required to submit fingerprints and undergo a criminal investigation check at the candidate's expense (nonrefundable).
An offer of employment with the Moscow School District is considered conditional pending the District's review of previous work history, clearance of the background investigation check through law enforcement agencies and the Idaho State Department of Education, and official action by the Board of Trustees. Non-contract positions are at-will and can be terminated at any time, for any reason, by either the employee or the employer.
