Temp Faculty-Lecturer, Economics

The University of Idaho’s Department of Business seeks applications for a part-time, non‑tenure‑track lecturer in Business for Spring 2026.

This temporary lecturer will teach either in‑person on the Moscow campus or online (via distance). The position is expected to teach Econ 3520 – Intermediate Microeconomic Analysis (3 credits per semester) at the undergraduate level.

Primary responsibility: teaching and advising. All effort is allocated to teaching (100%). No effort is allocated to scholarship or service activities in this role.

Minimum Education/Degree Required

• Master’s degree or terminal degree in business, economics, or a closely related field

Required Qualifications

• Experience teaching undergraduate economics courses

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate or terminal degree in Economics
• Ability to teach Econ 3520 Intermediate Microeconomic Analysis
• Evidence of teaching excellence as noted in application materials
• Ability to teach courses in person on campus in Moscow, Idaho
