Position Overview
- This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit. Duties may include: serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions; facilitating communication between program participants and managerial staff; coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets;

collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records; maintaining program calendars and schedules; and may utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications
- Required Experience
- Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions; composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials; using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research. Required Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Required Other
- Ability to travel; ability to work nonstandard business hours which may include weekends and holidays; must possess a valid driver's license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles. Additional Preferred
- Bachelor's degree; one year or more of relevant experience in higher education, alumni relations, engagement, event coordination or customer-focused roles; strong organizational, time management and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; working with student organizations or volunteers; coordinating events or engagement programs.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds; ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods of time. Degree Requirement
- Listed degree qualification is required at time of hire.
