Position Summary: Position Summary:
The position will serve as a teaching assistant for one section of BIOL 3150 Genetics Lab to be held at the Coeurd'Alene Harbor Center during the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities include working with Moscow-based instructor and graduate teaching assistants to offer consistent lab content delivery to students in Coeur d'Alene; maintaining wild-type andmutant lines of Drosophila and equipment and supplies needed for student-led genetic experiments; overseeing safe work practices; mentoring student projects and answering questions;grading student lab reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
- Prior coursework in Genetics
- Experience with Drosophila in education or research environment
- Experience teaching undergraduate laboratory courses
- Previous student in University of Idaho BIOL 315/3150 Genetics Laboratory
