Position OverviewThe Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) Specialist of ECLIPSE (Employment Capacity Leveraged through Post-Secondary Education) at the University of Idaho will deliver services to support the Vandal QUEST program. Vandal QUEST (Quality University Experiences to Support Transition) is a post-secondary program for dual-enrolled students with intellectual or developmental disabilities at the University of Idaho. Job training and career development activities to improve CIE outcomes are at the forefront.
The CIE Specialist will work with Vandal QUEST and ECLIPSE personnel to develop and implement job training activities.
- Experience delivering training and/or instruction to individuals with disabilities
- Experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in education, marketing or related field
- None
- Communication and networking skills
- Experience with post-secondary education programs for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Experience facilitating job training activities
- Experience delivering training and/or coaching to support learners
- Experience planning and delivering events
- None
Listed degree qualification is required at time of hire
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
