Site Supervisor

POSITION: SITE SUPERVISOR - ADVENTURE CLUB
- After school/Summer Program

HOURS:

After School Program hours: 2:45 p.m.

- 6:00 p.m. Monday
- Thursday 2:00 p.m.

- 6:00 p.m. Friday Will be scheduled to work full days on teacher workdays and during some school breaks between the hours of 7:45 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m.

START DATE:

As soon as possible.

Supervision of the day-to-day operations of the after school program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: direct supervision of enrolled children; provide direction and guidance to Group Leaders and volunteers; scheduling staff; plan and implement activities; use computer software for record keeping and childcare management; supply shopping; organize supplies; clean area daily; positive communications with families; assist the program director with hiring Group Leaders;

train new staff; provide input on annual evaluations of Group Leaders; scheduling; promote cooperation, group cohesiveness and positive relations.

• Experience and/or desire to work with elementary school age students.
• Ability to communicate effectively. Follow written and oral instructions. Read and speak English.
• Ability to supervise staff and volunteers.
• Ability to supervise student activities for safety and aid children as needed.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and collaborate positively with others.
• Ability to develop, plan, and facilitate activities for kindergarten through fifth graders.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
