POSITION COMMUNITY SCHOOLS COORDINATOR - MHS

8 hours/day, 200 days/year (Grant based position)

STARTING DATE October 19, 2026

HOURS 7:30am - 4:00pm

SALARY $28.60/hour

The Community School Coordinator (CSC) serves as a key leader in advancing the success of community school initiatives within the Moscow School District. This position is responsible for fostering collaboration among school staff, families, local agencies, and community organizations to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The CSC works to identify and reduce barriers to student learning and well‑being by coordinating services and developing programs that meet the academic, physical, and social‑emotional needs of students and their families.

Through strategic planning, data‑driven decision‑making, and strong community partnerships, the CSC plays a vital role in ensuring the effective implementation and sustainability of the community school strategy.

• 1. Bachelor's degree in education, social work, public administration, or related field.
• 2. Experience in community organizing, education, or nonprofit coordination
• 3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills..
• 4. Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• 5. Knowledge of resources and services available within the local community
• 6. Demonstrated ability to use data for planning and evaluation

• Organizational skills, technology skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to work with interruptions, and excellent people skills.
