Parts Sales Counterperson

Papé Machinery Inc. is seeking a Parts Sales Counterperson to support customers and technicians with parts for agricultural, construction, forestry, and landscaping equipment. In this front-line role, you will identify and source parts, provide accurate quotes, process orders, handle returns, and maintain organized inventory and displays. You'll use parts catalogs and dealer systems to research components, coordinate with the service department, and ensure timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with parts selection and quotes
• Research and identify correct parts using catalogs and computer systems
• Process parts orders, invoices, payments, and returns accurately
• Support technicians and service department with timely parts fulfillment
• Maintain parts counter displays, stock levels, and bin organization
• Perform inventory counts and help reconcile discrepancies
• Coordinate special orders and follow up on backordered items
• Provide product information, availability, and basic equipment guidance
• Adhere to safety, company, and cash-handling procedures
• Contribute to a team-oriented, customer-focused work environment
