Position: Program Manager I, Student Success Dual Credit

Program Manager I, Student Success Dual Credit

This position supports the planning and completion of educational, outreach, or professional programs; working with program staff, students, the public, and agencies to plan and oversee program activities. The manager may lead a distinct area for the program such as outreach, assessment, or financial management.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participate in the development and implementation of program deliverables, services, and activities
  • Coordinate a team with a variety of talents and responsibilities
  • Collect, compile, and summarize program data for reports
  • Participate in developing program operating goals, objectives, and protocols
  • Maintain program budgets, monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with program requirements
  • Active participation in the development and submission of program proposals
  • Lead collection and compilation of program assessment data
  • May supervise the work of others or lead a team to accomplish assigned goals
  • Two years of program coordination or program management experience
  • Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Collecting, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data for administrative reports
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree; four additional years of experience in program coordination (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree
Required Other
  • Ability to obtain membership in appropriate professional organizations
  • Ability to travel and to work selected evenings and/or weekends
Additional Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, General Studies, Communication, or related field
  • Master’s Degree in Education, General Studies, Communications, or related field
  • Working with high school students in a mentorship capacity
  • Experience with student outreach and support
  • Working collaboratively and independently and accurately on detailed tasks
  • Experience maintaining organizational skills including the ability to prioritize activities and flexibility to adjust priorities as circumstances dictate
  • Project or program management
  • Supervising the work of others
  • Processing financial transactions
  • Collecting data and compiling routine management reports
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Pay Range: $28.34 per hour or higher depending on education and experience.
