Program Manager I, Student Success Dual Credit
This position supports the planning and completion of educational, outreach, or professional programs; working with program staff, students, the public, and agencies to plan and oversee program activities. The manager may lead a distinct area for the program such as outreach, assessment, or financial management.
Responsibilities and Duties- Participate in the development and implementation of program deliverables, services, and activities
- Coordinate a team with a variety of talents and responsibilities
- Collect, compile, and summarize program data for reports
- Participate in developing program operating goals, objectives, and protocols
- Maintain program budgets, monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with program requirements
- Active participation in the development and submission of program proposals
- Lead collection and compilation of program assessment data
- May supervise the work of others or lead a team to accomplish assigned goals
- Two years of program coordination or program management experience
- Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
- Collecting, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data for administrative reports
- Bachelor’s Degree; four additional years of experience in program coordination (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to obtain membership in appropriate professional organizations
- Ability to travel and to work selected evenings and/or weekends
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, General Studies, Communication, or related field
- Master’s Degree in Education, General Studies, Communications, or related field
- Working with high school students in a mentorship capacity
- Experience with student outreach and support
- Working collaboratively and independently and accurately on detailed tasks
- Experience maintaining organizational skills including the ability to prioritize activities and flexibility to adjust priorities as circumstances dictate
- Project or program management
- Supervising the work of others
- Processing financial transactions
- Collecting data and compiling routine management reports
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 20 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Pay Range: $28.34 per hour or higher depending on education and experience.
