Registered Nurse

Specialize in the administration of medications, fluids, and blood through injections into patients' veins using multiple access methods.

Conduct direct and indirect age-appropriate patient assessments.

Develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.

Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients/families in care planning.

Report patient status to physicians and obtain necessary care orders.

Provide age-appropriate patient and family education.

Accommodate individual learning needs of patients.

Educate and mentor students, novice nurses, and peers.

Promote educational opportunities for self and others.

Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.

Registered Nurse (RN) license from Idaho or compact state.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
