North Latah County Highway District (NLCHD) is currently seeking motivated individuals for full‑time Operator / Truck Driver positions in the Moscow Maintenance Area. • Perform road maintenance activities in all weather conditions.
• Be available for on‑call or extended hours when necessary to ensure community infrastructure runs smoothly year‑round.

• Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds four feet off the ground.
• Strong communication skills.
• Residence within 30 minutes of the NLCHD maintenance shop at 1132 White Avenue.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.
• Military veterans are encouraged to apply; NLCHD honors veterans’ preference in accordance with Idaho state law.

• Previous equipment operation experience such as road grader, excavator, wheel loader, or backhoe.
• At least five years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• General mechanical and road maintenance knowledge.
• Skills in metal fabrication or welding.
