School Bus Driver

• Competitive wage: $24.21/hr
• Flexible shifts (between 6:30–8:30 a.m. and/or 2:30–5:30 p.m.)

• Meet acceptable motor vehicle records review criteria.
• Qualify for a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus (S) and passenger (P) endorsements, and no air brake restriction within 2 weeks of hire; the District will provide CDL training.
• Pass a D.O.T. physical, controlled‑substance and alcohol testing program (pre‑employment and ongoing), and a criminal history check including fingerprinting at the employee’s expense.
• Have a valid Idaho Class D driver license (or hold a CDL); if holding a CDL, provide endorsements.
• Be at least 18 years old and have at least 1 year of driving experience.

• Complete the required driver training provided by the District within the timeframe set by the Transportation Supervisor.
• Obtain a standard First Aid card when the course is offered.
• Submit to an FBI fingerprint criminal background check and a nationwide sex offender registry check.
