Secretary I - Elementary
Secretary I plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of the school's administrative processes by providing comprehensive secretarial and clerical support.
Peninsula Elementary
7 hours per day/187 workdays per year
(M-F) 8:30AM-4:00PM
Shift time is subject to building needs.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education preferred.
One (1) year of clerical experience using various computer applications, or any combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential job functions.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Documented history of good attendance and punctuality.
School secretarial experience preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Essential Job Functions:First aid card may be required for specific positions
Ability to successfully complete the following assessments:
Typing (upper Moderately Effective to Highly Effective range), math, grammar, basic excel, proofreading, writing sample (optional), 10-key test (optional), accounting (optional) tests.
Current in-district employees with five (5) or more years of experience in the Moses Lake School District may have the typing test waived at the discretion of the principal/director.
