Job Title and Compensation

Substation Project Manager – $115,000–$150,000 per year with base salary (DOE).

We are seeking a Substation Project Manager to lead electrical substation construction projects from award through closeout. This is a hands‑on role focused on execution, field coordination, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

• Manage substation construction projects from kickoff through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Lead project meetings including kickoff, progress updates, and closeout.
• Ensure alignment with contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Partner closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crews.
• Support and guide project engineers and coordinators.
• Resolve field challenges, constructability issues, and schedule conflicts.
• Maintain clear communication between field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

• 3+ years of experience in substation, utility, or heavy electrical construction project management.
• Strong understanding of substation construction practices and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
