Responsibilities- Lead manufacturing engineering team responsible for developing manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling that maximize operational KPIs.
- Lead maintenance and facilities teams to eliminate equipment downtime, maintain compliance, and drive facility improvements.
- Drive and coach root cause problem-solving across the full team.
- Be responsible for multiple department budgets, including labor and CAPEX.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, manufacturing floor presence, iterative design philosophy, and results focus.
- Review, plan, and execute a team member development program that supports individual growth.
- Support DFM activity with the design team to improve the manufacturability of products.
- B.S. Degree in Engineering (ABET certified)
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience.
- Desire and potential for advancement.
- Background in developing production processes: experience with machine tools, fixture design, manufacturing processes, CNC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation methods.
- Ability to lead and influence with a hands-on approach to management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to play a key role in strategy development with the senior leadership team.
The successful Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead a highly experienced engineering team with a passion for continuous improvement. You will be the figurehead for site-wide manufacturing excellence, building robust DFM processes, automation upgrades, multi-million dollar CAPEX budgets, and lean manufacturing. As the "change leader" on-site, you'll receive full support from Senior Management in your pursuit of world-class manufacturing, along with genuine career development in a Prime OEM.
