Deliver restorative nursing care to prevent decline and attain maximum functionality;
Maintain accurate restorative nursing progress documentation records on all patients participating in the restorative program;
Participate in the patient care planning process;
Train other direct care staff in restorative techniques, equipment, and the application of splints, braces, prosthetic appliances, and self-help devices to assure proper application and usage;
Notify nursing and/or rehabilitation therapy of patients who may be experiencing a change in their level of functioning
