Sanitation Technician

Reporting To: Food Safety Manager

Compensation: $17.50 - $19.50 / hour

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Perform sanitation according to established COVID protocols
  • Performs sanitation duties according to the SQF master sanitation schedule
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors
  • Cleans in and around warehouse, including packaging equipment/machinery
  • Cleans restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
  • Ensures outside building area is clean and free of garbage/litter
  • Ensures janitorial supplies are stocked and communicates any order needs to supervisor
  • Use required chemicals in a safe and responsible manner, only for intended us
  • Performs sanitation tasks in a timely manner, in accordance with sanitation schedules
  • When applicable, handles disposal of recyclables
  • Communicate with management and other maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
  • Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Quality Control Supervisor.
