Entry-Level Plant Operator is an entry position located in Moses Lake, WA 98837. This role offers opportunities for growth and advancement. Shift / Hours / Location(Must be available for both shifts):
Mon-Thurs, Day shift: 5am-3:30pm and Second Shift: 3pm-1am, Onsite, Moses Lake. We offer a $5 shift differential on Second shift.
- Monitors the production process and ensures efficiency of systems and equipment.
- Prepare product containers (bottles, drums, totes, etc.) for filling.
- Formulate and batch product according to customer specifications.
- Fill container with product following clean room requirements.
- Prepare product for shipment.
- Document plant processes and record production data.
- Transport full and empty product containers in various sizes with the assistance of industrial equipment.
- Train uncertified Chemical Operators according to procedures.
- Take special care when handling or moving any raw materials, chemicals, components, equipment or finished goods.
- Stock product and packaging supplies.
- Perform housekeeping duties in order to maintain a safe clean work environment.
- Perform necessary tasks and work hours needed to accomplish departmental and company goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
- Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to work as a team and/or independently.
- Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
- Summary pay range:
- Chemical Operator I: $22-$25/hour
- Chemical Operator II: $24-$30/hour
- Chemical Operator III: $27-$33/hour

Duties are generally performed indoors in a high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level can be occasionally loud. While working in the presence of safety hazards, employees are expected to follow safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as hardhat, safety glasses and full leather shoes. This environment is a Process Safety Management environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gases with potential for fire or explosion.
