Equipment Operator – Distribution

Location:

Moses Lake, WA – Onsite, Day Shift. Join Terex/Genie’s Distribution Center team as a skilled equipment operator.

• Maintain strong orientation toward safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, and continuous improvement.
• Operate various AWP units around the facility for inspection, shipment, and storage.
• Use forklifts to move units for various functions.
• Load AWP units onto outbound shipment trailers.
• Reconfigure units to match customer orders.
• Perform quality inspections following standards.
• Identify minor issues and report defects in Tulip.
• Operate handheld tools and other equipment as required.
• Perform additional duties supporting overall objectives.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong human‑relations skills to receive and communicate technical instructions and orient new team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of MEWP assembly and functions.
• Ability to work at heights and learn all unit types.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

• In‑depth knowledge of safe work practices.
• MEWP license.
• Self‑starter with strong time‑management skills.
• Vocational education that may substitute for experience.
• Understanding of production flow, visual management systems, and processes.
• Excellent attendance record.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or similar experience.

• 10‑hour shifts with overtime as required.
• Able to stand for long periods, walk, stand, reach, stoop, and bend continuously.
• Auditory ability to project voice and hear instructions in a production environment.
• Work at various heights dependent on machine type.

Heavy manufacturing environment with significant safety considerations (dangerous equipment, moving objects, heavy materials). Required personal protective equipment includes steel‑toe shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.

$25.05 per hour (step grid), with pay based on education, experience, certifications, and other factors.
