Overview
Registered Nurse – L&D in a travel assignment for a home healthcare setting based in Moses Lake, Washington.

Home healthcare travel assignment with L&D responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and data collection across physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive domains; apply the Nursing Process to plan and deliver care.
- Coordinate and supervise care delivery, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and non‑licensed team members; monitor outcomes and adjust plans as needed.
- Document patient data in electronic medical records or charting per policy and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and privacy.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, treatment expectations, safety, and discharge planning; assess learning needs and document learning outcomes.
- Exhibit leadership when assigned, including potential Charge Nurse duties; assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and unit coverage while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Washington State RN licensure.
- BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or equivalent). Perinatal‑specific certifications: NRP Advanced required by end of orientation; ACLS within 6 months; AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring within 3 months.
- Experience:
Acute care RN experience preferred; minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments. - Ability to work nights and in a home healthcare setting; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
