Responsibilities
  • Lead nursing services for a long-term care population, ensuring resident safety, high-quality care, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive care plans.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and coverage for the unit; supervise licensed nurses and charge staff.
  • Monitor quality metrics, infection prevention, medication administration practices, and resident safety initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system; uphold state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and develop nursing staff, promote a patient-centered culture, and support staff education and competency.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse license in Washington state or ability to obtain (travel assignment eligibility).
  • Leadership or management experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, quality measures, and resident rights.
  • Proven ability to manage care coordination, clinical operations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a travel assignment environment with adaptable scheduling as needed.
