Position: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job

Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse – Long‑Term Care travel assignment in Moses Lake, Washington. Start date 07/01/2026 for a 5‑week engagement. Weekly pay ranges from $922 to $956 per week. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, following physician orders and facility policy.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, document accurately, and report adverse reactions or changes in condition.
  • Monitor residents’ vital signs, daily activity, and overall status; recognize and escalate concerns promptly.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene while preserving resident dignity.
  • Maintain a safe and clean care environment; adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and charting requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, family members, and on‑site staff to ensure continuity of care and appropriate care planning.
Requirements
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Washington.
  • Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
  • Ability to work the documented shift (06:00–14:30) and participate in a 5‑week travel assignment.
  • Experience in long‑term care or geriatric nursing is preferred; applicants comfortable in an LTC setting will be considered.
  • Successful completion of credentialing and compliance requirements (background check, drug screening) as part of the onboarding process.
  • Effective communication, documentation accuracy, and ability to work under supervision in a team environment.
